EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DAY
FAQ
When can I arrive to start setting up for my event
10:00 AM is the arrival for all weddings and events.
Will venue staff help me and my guests set up and tear down for my event?
We will walk you through the venue again and ensure that you can access all of the tables, chairs, signage, and décor that we have available upon your arrival and will be on site to assist with any issues should they arise. We will walk through the bridal suite and groom’s room to sign off on the condition of these spaces upon your arrival to ensure that any pre-existing issues do not impact the return of your full security deposit.
To ensure that we are not responsible for any damage to your personal property, venue staff are not allowed to assist in setting up or tearing down anything that is not venue property.
While it is up to you and your guests to set things up the way you’d like, and tear down everything aside from venue tables and chairs, we are happy to help where we can!
If my event is scheduled to end at 10:00pm, can I stay longer?
No, you cannot. If you and your guests exceed the 12-hour reservation window and have not left the venue, you may be subject to an additional fee based on the amount of time you remain on the venue. (Venue staff cannot clean until you and your guests are gone, please be mindful of this and ensure that you and your guests leave by the agreed upon time.) We recommend that you have your planner/DJ/friend announce to your guests that the bride and groom are leaving and everyone should go out front for the send-off around 9:30 – 9:40. This gives your guests 20 – 30 minutes to gather up the décor that was used, put away venue décor, collect items out of dressing rooms, gather gifts given to you, pack up and remove any leftover food, and ensure that trash has been placed in bins and not left laying around.
It's a special occasion and we're really having fun! Can we let music play past 10PM?
No, you cannot. Music must end by 10:00PM.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes! To ensure this is handled appropriately and legally, this is an add-on service available! For $1,000 we will provide your event with a licensed bartender and a security guard when you provide the alcohol.
There are a few places to park close to the venue, can I or my guests park there?
No, parking is not permitted outside of the designated parking area on the east side of the property. While we understand you may need to bring a car or two close to the venue to unload supplies for your event, all vehicles – including catering vehicles – should be parked in the designated parking area after they are unloaded.
I have an elderly guest or a guest with a special need who cannot walk from the parking area to the venue space. Can they park at the venue?
No, they may not. We have a golf cart we are happy to assist these guests with. If your guest has special needs and is unable to get into our golf cart, by all means drive them there and assist them into the venue! Once they are in the venue, all vehicles should be moved to the designated parking area.
We've had so much fun! Can I leave my car here overnight?
We love when our guests enjoy themselves! To ensure that the venue is ready to go for the next client, no, you may not. We recommend carpooling and planning ahead to decide who will be a designated driver. Since each event is unique, we need to ensure that the parking area is vacant, cleaned up, and ready for the next client and their guests to accommodate their event. Vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Do you cater? Do you take professional photos?
No, we do not. We encourage you to select your own vendors! All vendors must be licensed and insured.
Do you require wedding insurance? Can we buy this through you if so?
We do require this, and no this is not something we provide. We recommend you reach out to Wedsure! You can access their website here: www.wedsure.com or call them directly at 1-800-364-2433.
Are children allowed at your venue?
Absolutely! We encourage you to enjoy your event with guests of any age! It is very important to note that no children may be on Wildwood Acres Event, LLC property without direct adult supervision. (This means that ALL children must be within a supervising adult’s line of sight at ALL times.)
How much money is required to hold my date? How does payment work?
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to save your date. This deposit ensures that no one else can have the date you’ve chosen, and goes towards the overall cost of your event.
What is your cancelation policy?
Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather; however, your event may be rescheduled for another date at no additional cost if severe weather occurs on the date of your event. If your event is postponed for any other reason within 30 or fewer days of your event, you will incur an additional $500 fee. If your event is postponed for any other reason between 30 – 180 days of your event, you will incur a $250 additional fee. If your event is postponed more than 180 days before the date of your event, no additional fee will be incurred.
